To build a custom Notebook environment, you can use a Python package manager such as Momba. But, you can also use Python's built in virtual environments. This example will cover such.
- Declare the virtual Python environment.
- python3 -m venv /path/to/your/jupyter_env
- Activate the virtual environment.
- source /srv/jupyter_env/bin/activate
- Install the Jupyter Notebook application to the new Python virtual environment.
- pip install notebook
To use your own Jupyter Environment, replace the default path above in step 3 for Jupyter Notebook Path.
